Book Sales

• Product Description: We strive to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that product description or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
• Pricing: All prices are listed in USD. Prices and products may change at our discretion.
• Shipping: Delivery timelines vary. We’re not responsible for postal/customs delays or lost packages with "delivered" status. Risk of loss and title for books purchased pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
• Damaged/Missing Shipments: You must report damaged books within 7 days of delivery to orders@mildsaucestudio.com. Notice must include: photos of damage, copy of packing slip, and order number. Replacements are subject to availability—no guaranteed timelines.
• Refunds: All preorders are final sale—no cancellations, returns, or exchanges.
• Preview Disclaimer: Final book may differ from renderings.
• International Customers: You are responsible for all customs/duties (estimate 5-20% of order value) and your order may experience delivery delays once shipped.
• Production & Delivery: The expected ship date for the book is Fall 2025 (subject to change).

• Copyrights and Trademarks: The content on our website and our book, including but not limited to all text, graphic designs, photographs, illustrations, and layout compositions, is the exclusive property of Shane V. • Permitted Use: Purchasers are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Book for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This license expressly prohibits any form of reproduction, distribution, or public display outside of private use.
• Prohibited Actions: Unauthorized commercial exploitation, including but not limited to resale above MSRP within 12 months of publication, reproduction for educational or promotional purposes without written consent, or use of content for artificial intelligence training datasets is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in legal action and termination of access to any accompanying digital materials.

Dispute Resolution

• Mediation Requirement: All disputes arising from this preorder shall first be submitted to mediation through the American Arbitration Association's Chicago office, with costs shared equally between parties. Mediation sessions must be conducted virtually unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
• Legal Jurisdiction: Should mediation fail, any legal proceedings shall be filed exclusively in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. Both parties irrevocably submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objections to venue or forum non conveniens.
• Legal Waivers: By preordering or ordering, customers voluntarily waive their rights to participate in class action lawsuits or jury trials for any disputes related to this transaction. All claims must be brought individually.

Liability Limitations

• Disclaimers: Our website and the materials on our website are provided "as is". We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties.

• Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failures or delays in performance resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, printer strikes, paper shortages, governmental actions, pandemics, or catastrophic internet failures.

Governing Law

• Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.
